Mobile Money

Mobile Money was formed in 1998 and their website (www.mobilemoney.co.uk) followed in 1999. This shows that they are clearly one of the more experience lenders in the logbook loan space today. They have built up a wide range of branches across the UK and will soon be approaching 40 in total. Applicants can get their hands on funds between £200 and £25,000. There is no specific reference to the terms, with their pricing example showing 18 months. This range isn’t much of an issue anyway as you can freely pay early and only pay for the months that the cash has been borrowed over.

The interest is displayed as 464.4% APR and this works out at 11% monthly. There is also a £30 document fee to pay. A £1000 over the year should cost £1350. Most of the logbook companies that I run into don’t tend to use SSL, but it was good to see that Mobile Money has added to this to www.mobilemoney.co.uk. Many of their customers are self-employed and poor credit including CCJs is accepted. These also work as no bank account logbook loans, so long as you can prove your income. On the homepage you will also spot that they don’t run any credit searches.

Most applicants should be given a chance so long as they can afford to make the repayments. This is a CCTA member and many positive reviews have been left for them on Trustpilot that aids their reputation. I couldn’t spot any opening times, but it is stated that they are available 6/7 days and so they will just be off on the Sunday. Overall, there are many great reasons to choose this company. They are highly experienced, they have received lots of positive feedback and there are many branches spread out across Britain. Their website also contains plenty of thorough product info as seen within their FAQ.
